Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of AAI for MerusCase ("AAI", "the Service"), operated by AAI.dev ("we", "us"). By using AAI, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AAI is AI-powered case intelligence software for California Workers' Compensation attorneys. It connects to your MerusCase account via the MerusCase API.

2. Eligibility

You must be a licensed attorney, paralegal, or authorized staff member
You must have a valid MerusCase account with API access
You must be authorized to access the case data in your MerusCase system

3. Pricing & Cancellation

Pricing available upon request
Cancel anytime — takes effect at end of billing period
Prices may change with 30 days' notice

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing and approving all actions AAI takes
AAI is an assistant, not a replacement for attorney judgment
Settlement values are approximations — verify before relying on them
Verify critical deadlines independently
You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and bar regulations

5. Limitations of Liability

AAI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We are not liable for missed deadlines, incorrect calculations, or any loss arising from reliance on AAI's output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual Property

AAI software is proprietary to AAI.dev. Your case data remains your property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service during your subscription.

7. Data & Privacy

Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. Case data is not stored. All local files have owner-only permissions. No telemetry.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California. Disputes shall be resolved in Los Angeles County courts.
