Type read upload [id]. The system downloads the file, reads it, and produces a summary:
- PDF — read with AI vision, page by page. Large PDFs auto-split into chunks.
- DOCX — pure Node.js extraction, no Microsoft Office needed
- XLSX — multi-sheet extraction with headers
- EML — email files with sender, recipient, subject, body, attachments
- RTF — rich text format, stripped to plain text
For medical reports: extracts WPI ratings, body parts, apportionment findings, work restrictions, and MMI date. Flags body parts being treated that are not in the Application.
